What Quiss stores

Quiss stores a limited amount of information on your device so your quiz schedule, progress, and preferences are ready when you come back.

  • Display name, optional handle, selected topics, active hours, and age-gate status.
  • Quiz schedule, answer history, streak, score, pending submissions, and recent activity.
  • Notification permission state and other app preferences needed to preserve the current experience.

How Quiss uses that information

This information helps Quiss keep quiz timing predictable, restore your progress quickly, and show recent performance without asking you to create a separate account for everyday use.

  • Schedule quiz drops during the active hours chosen by the user.
  • Show score, streak, quiz history, and upcoming quiz activity inside the app.
  • Restore profile details, selected topics, and local progress after the app is reopened.

What Quiss does not do today

Quiss is designed to stay simple and respectful. That means some features people might expect from a larger connected platform are not part of the app today.

  • Quiss does not require a live profile backend for everyday quiz play.
  • Quiss does not depend on personalized advertising or cross-app tracking to function.
  • Quiss does not publish public social profile data from the app today.

Notification timing can still be affected by device settings, device state, battery conditions, and permission changes made outside the app.

User controls

Users can manage their experience directly from the app and from their device settings.

  • Update profile details, selected topics, and quiz timing preferences from the Profile experience.
  • Turn notifications on or off from your device settings at any time.
  • Use the reset action in Quiss to clear saved local profile data, quiz history, pending submissions, and scheduled notifications from the device.
